Gear: Canon 60D, 50mm 1.8 MKI, 17-40mm L, Tripod, monopod, gorillapod, eyes and brains.
Where I live: Sint-Truiden, a small town in Belgium, famous for its apples, pears and cherries. The inhabitants are also called “Binken” or “è ras apoat” (sorry but it is too difficult to translate).
Photographic history: I am member of photo group “Renovat“. My photography changed after I did a 5year night school art study on etching and lino printing. What I learned was to consider the composition over the subject.
My photographic motto: “See the beauty in ugliness” – Meaning: “Any subject how odd or meaningless it is, can become a piece of art”
Money with photography: I do not make a living with photography. However, if you want to buy a picture you may contact me.
Hi Benny, would you be interesting in collaborating with me at Discovering Belgium? (Your photos + my text). Email if interested: denzil@discoveringbelgium.com You might be interested in some ideas I have. Thanks. Denzil
