why shooting at f1.8? It results in pictures you cannot see by the eye. The eye will always try to get everything sharp. With post processing I faded out the heavy yellow which was taking all attention away from the subject

Colorless flower
Heavy yellow popping from my screen. As if the subject is the color yellow. Desaturation and some color adjustments were needed to get it right (for me)

Zaterdagvoormiddag 8/8 (op de heetste dag nog wel) het mooie park gaan bezoeken van het kasteel van Heers. Bedankt nog dat ik ook effe de hoeve en bakoven heb mogen zien. Tof dat ik ook een babbeltje heb kunnen slaan met de vader van de man die de prachtige opgemaakte (levensechte) dieren gemaakt heeft. Zie […] […]
Did you know that corn has a flower?
I only knew the brown-black moustache thing but I discovered the beautiful colors of the fresh “flower” or what it may be.
Lace made by nature
This plant is just weed for me, but a closer look and I saw the tine purple spot in the centre of the flower.
