An empty parking place
no cars, just the lights and the concrete floor. The blue parking lot was a bonus.

Contrast can be more than just pushing the contrast slider. Location: Dusseldorf – Mannesmann-Hochhaus
Use split-tone in your black and white. The use of warm and cold colors give extra contrast to the B&W
By enhancing the contrast the colors become more vivid so even a grey building becomes a colorful item.
Just something which crossed my camera
My mission impossible was to make non-standard pictures of the MAS “Museum Aan de Stroom”. I limited myself taking only my nifty-fifty lens with me (Canon 50mm F1.8 MKI)
Post-processing: Split-tone (blue-sepia), desaturate, add contrast, vignette and semi-HDR
Use of split-tone with a cold-warm contrast to add drama to the scene.
Walk away from where all tourist go, look out for objects to make compositions. These may be just in front of you without noticing. Enjoy making pictures.
Before current method of post-processing existed I would not have tried to take this picture.
