High, look up high… Architecture
White sky, so what
White sky, so what
To focus on lines and reflections of buildings you need to look up. That’s what I did in this series of 10 compositions Post processing: added contrasts (also shadows-high lights), vignetting, enhanced the yellow tones, changed color temperature to warm. Gear: Canon camera with 50mm F1.8 MKI
Why not add drama to ordinary landscape by going low + add split toning (warm-cold contrast)
Fancy clouds, Happy passengers, going to wherever, … or Mysterious clouds, Lost travelers, searching for adventure, … or (make your own story)
Light, glass, lines = shades curved by the reflections. Post processing: adding contrast Location: KBC building – Train station Leuven(B)
A series of flower petals covered with dew. Early mornig a rose garden next to some wood. The dew was nicely covering the fragile rose petals. I took my 50mm and an extension tube to get better details.
No damage.
The bokeh may not be perfect. Taken with my nifty fifty f1.8 Mk1 I used shadow highlight in post-processing to avoid a dark spot in the centre of the flower
Picked a flower from the side of the road for details at my home studio. Then I noticed the tiny visitor.
why shooting at f1.8? It results in pictures you cannot see by the eye. The eye will always try to get everything sharp. With post processing I faded out the heavy yellow which was taking all attention away from the subject
