History: The citadel is the only remaining brick stone citadel in Flanders. Here are some pictures from the fortification walls of the citadel. Visible from a walking trail at the rear side of the citadel.

Series of 9 pictures in color and black & white of an old entrance gate to the city. The gate is called “Schaffense Poort” This location is free to visit and is part of a walking trail in Diest. Diest is a small historical town in Belgium.

Location: Diest(B) A series of an old gate of the fortification of the small city Diest(B). I don’t call it “urbex” because it is free and open to everyone. It’s a little bit scarry if you are alone – to the many dark corners.
